TKR Web Sites

search.gif (6030 bytes)Here is a selection of a few Web Sites dealing with tyrosine kinase receptors or related topics. The links to the Web Sites will work only if your computer is connected to the internet.

If you don't like my selection then use the neuroscience search engine to the right, or your own favorite engine, to look for your own sites.

The Protein Kinase Resource The Protein Kinase Resource (PKR) is a web accessible compendium of information on the protein kinase family of enzymes. This resource includes tools for structural and computational analyses as well as links to related information maintained by others. The PKR is a collaborative project of protein kinase researchers and computational biologists working to create a database integrating molecular and cellular information.

Animated gif: Here you will find a cute gif animation that take you step-by-step trough tyrosine kinase receptor of MAP kinase.

General overview: This site gives a general view of cell surface receptor signaling. About half way down the site you can find an animated gif of tyrosine kinase receptor activation.

Tyrosine Kinase signaling in figures: At this site there is an extensive collection of figures concerning tyrosine kinase receptors

Insulin-like growth factor 1: ILGF-1 is an important tryosine kinase receptor. This sihte gives an overview of the structure and function of this receptor.

Slide of TKR signaling: This site presents tyrosine kinase receptor signaling in a series of 80 slides
